Mercedes-Benz EQC Priced at Rs 99.30 Lakh – 9 Key Features

Mercedes-Benz EQC, the first electric SUV from the German carmaker, has finally arrived in the Indian market. The all-electric luxury car has been made available at an introductory price of Rs 99.30 lakh (on-road, India).

One must note that the introductory price is for the first 50 customers only. Mercedes-Benz’s first full-electric SUV will be sold in phased manner. In the first phase, it will be retailed in 6 major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Mercedes-Benz EQC Features

Powertrain of the EQC includes two asynchronous motors with each fitted on the front and rear axles and a floor-mounted 85kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It offers a combined power output of 408bhp and 765Nm of torque.

The SUV’s battery pack can be fully charged via standard 15A power socket in 21 hours. With a 7.5kW wall-box charger provided by Mercedes, it takes 10 hours. The EQC also comes with 50kW DC fast charging capabilities that enable it to get charged in 90 minutes. There are over 100 EQ charging points in 48 cities across the nation.

Mercedes-Benz’s new electric SUV can do 0 to 100kmph in 5.1 seconds and offers a top speed of 180kmph.

Interior of the Mercedes-Benz EQC has the brand’s signature fit and finish with lots of luxury goodies. One of its major attractions is a large 12.3-inch dual screen display that can be used for both infotainment and instrumentation.

The SUV comes with a multi-functional steering wheel, automatic climate control, a Burmester audio system with smartphone connectivity, power adjustable seats with massage function and centre console with a trackpad for controlling other in-car functions.
