Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain Launched At Rs 75 Lakh

The Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain takes on the Volvo V90 Cross Country that costs Rs 65.31 lakh.

Further expanding its E-Class model lineup, Mercedes-Benz has rolled out the E-Class All-Terrain in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 75 lakh, the Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain takes on the Volvo V90 Cross Country that costs Rs 65.31 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, India.

Under the hood, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class All-Terrain houses a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that meets the BSVI emission norms. It can also run on the existing BSIV fuel. Paired to a 9-speed TRONIC automatic gearbox, it delivers a top power of 194hp against 400Nm of torque.

Power is delivered to all four wheels via Mercedes’ 4Matic system. The new estate offers five driving modes including an ‘Individual’ and the ‘All-Terrain’ mode. It can accelerate 0-100kmph in 8.0 seconds and offer a top speed of 231kmph.

Compared to the standard model, the Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain has 35mm higher ground clearance. Though, its length (4947mm) and wheelbase (2939mm) have been trimmed down by 116mm and 158mm respectively. With a longer rear overhang, it offers a boot space of 640litres. One can increase it up to 1820-litres by folding the rear seats into a 40:20:40 split ratio.

What differentiate the Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain from the standard E-Class sedan are the 19-inch alloy wheels and the plastic cladding on the lower section of the bodywork and bumpers. Inside, the estate gets the Comand infotainment system, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof and an electrically operated tailgate.
