The Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC +was first previewed at the 2016 Los Angeles Motor Show.

Mercedes-Benz India will introduce the most powerful E-Class ever – the Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic+ – in the Indian market on May 4, 2018. First previewed at the Los Angeles Motor Show in 2016, the AMG E63 S 4Matic+ sedan will take on the new BMW M5. While the regular model of the sedan comes in the price range of Rs 57.47 lakh – Rs 70.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), its performance version is estimated to be priced over Rs 1 crore.

Under the hood, the Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic+ houses a 4.0-litre V8 turbocharged engine boosted with twin-scroll technology. This system not only enhances overall performance of the powertrain, but reduces turbo lag as well. This motor delivers a whopping 603bhp of power and 850Nm of torque. The sedan comes with a 9-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch gearbox, supported by 4Matic all-wheel drivetrain system. It can do 0-100kmph in just 3.3 seconds. Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC + India Features

The AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive system delivers power to all four wheels. Though, the new Drift Mode that claims to make the saloon a “purely rear-wheel drive” vehicle. It also offers ‘Race’ mode. Sporting performance muscles, the Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4Matic+ looks sportier than the regular E-Class sedan. This performance sedan gets a new single slat grille, new front bumper with slightly larger air intakes, more pronounced wheel arches, matte-black AMG 20-inch alloy wheels and sporty exhaust at the rear.
