Maruti XL6 Crossover Variant Details Revealed

Maruti Suzuki will launch an all-new XL6 cross model in the country on August 21, 2019. This is a 6-seater model based on the popular Ertiga MPV. It will be exclusively sold through Nexa premium sales and service network, while the standard Ertiga will be sold through Maruti Arena dealership network. A new media report claims that the new Maruti XL6 Cross will be available in 2 variants.

The new model will get captain seats for the second row, full LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights and LED tail-lamps will come as standard. It will come with an all-black interior, height adjustable driver’s seat and a rear wash-wipe function. The report claims that the new model will be offered in Alfa and Zeta variants. The top-spec Maruti XL6 Alfa variant will get added features including a reverse parking camera, leather seats and cruise control. Adding to it, this variant will also get dual-tone exterior paint scheme and blackened alloy wheels. Besides standard safety features, the new model gets ESP (Electronic Stability Program), Hill Hold function and the rear parking camera. The new Maruti XL6 will be powered by a new 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine with SHVS mild hybrid technology. This powertrain is capable of producing 103bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. In terms of exterior design changes, the upcoming Maruti XL6 Cross gets updated front fascia, new grille with dual-chrome slats in the middle and chromed Suzuki logo at the centre. It gets all-new headlamps with LED DRLs, new bumper, rectangular fog lamp housing, wider air intake and aluminum finished skid plate. Black plastic cladding, blackened wheels and blacked-out C and D-pillars are some of the changes on the side. It comes with raised ride height, new rear bumper, roof-integrated spoiler and slightly revised tail-lights.
