Maruti XL6 6-seater MPV Leaked Picture Reveals New Design

Maruti Suzuki will launch the new XL6 MPV in the country on August 21, 2019. A new image of the upcoming Maruti XL6 MPV revealing the exterior design has been leaked online. The leaked pictures seem to be official. The new XL6 will be sold exclusively through NEXA premium sales and service network.

Based on the Ertiga MPV, the Maruti XL6 will be sold as a premium model. It receives significant changes in terms of exterior design and new seat layout inside the cabin. Up front is a new trapezoidal grille with a chrome bar in the centre. The grille is flanked by redesigned headlamps with LED daytime running lights. It gets newly developed dual-tone front bumper that accommodates circular fog lamps and a silver skid plate.

On the sides, the Maruti XL6 gets black plastic cladding around the wheel arches. The door sills have black cladding with a silver insert. Other changes include blacked-out B and C-pillars, roof rails, blackened outside rear view mirrors with integrated turn signals and chromed door handles. The vehicle also gets black alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the upcoming new Maruti XL6 premium MPV comes equipped with individual captain seats with armrest for the second row of passengers. It gets all-black interior scheme with brushed aluminium finish and silver trim. Adding to it, the XL6 gets new Suzuki SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

In terms of proportions, the Maruti XL6 is 4,445mm in length, 1,775mm in width and 1,700mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,740mm. It is 50mm longer, 40mm wider and 10mm taller. Powering the new Maruti XL6 is a BSVI compliant 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine with SHVS mild hybrid system. This engine produces 103bhp of power and 138Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque convertor automatic.
