Maruti Suzuki India has introduced an all-new VXi+ variant of its highly-popular hatchback Wagon R. Available in four models, the new Maruti Wagon R VXi+ variant has been priced between Rs 4.69 lakh – Rs 5.36 lakh (all ex-showroom, Delhi). This new variant comes with subtle exterior and interior updates along with a new Midnight Blue shade.
On the outside, the Maruti Wagon R VXi+ variant receives projector headlamps with sporty front grille reflector, side skirts and alloy wheels. Though, the overall design and styling remains unchanged. This new variant, as mentioned above, comes with a new Midnight Blue colour. What’s new inside is the dual-tone and piano finish interior theme. The car also gets premium seat fabric. Since Maruti Suzuki has been improving safety levels of its products, the new WagonR variant has been offered with optional dual airbags and anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).
Things remain unchanged under the skin. That means, the new Maruti Wagon R VXi+ variant comes with the same 1.0-litre K-series petrol engine that powers the regular models. This powertrain, with a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox, delivers 67.04bhp with 90Nm of torque.
