Maruti Vitara Brezza Petrol – Launch & Engine Details

Maruti Vitara Brezza Recall

Maruti Vitara Brezza petrol model is likely to arrive in late 2019 or early 2020.

Maruti Suzuki is all set to introduce a new 1.5-litre diesel engine in the Indian market. The new engine will power the Ciaz, Ertiga, S-Cross and Vitara Brezza. However, it is quite early to comment whether this engine will also be offered with Baleno and Swift twins. Besides, Maruti Suzuki is also working the petrol version of its popular sub-4 meter SUV – Vitara Brezza.

Media reports claim that the Vitara Brezza petrol will receive the new 1.5-litre K15B engine with SHVS mild-hybrid system. This engine currently powers the Ciaz and Ertiga MPV. It will also power the S-Cross, which will also receive the new 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.5L engine churns out 103bhp of power and 138Nm of torque.

We believe that Maruti Vitara Brezza could receive the 1.0-litre Boosterjet petrol engine that currently powers the Baleno RS. This engine is capable of producing 100.5bhp of power and 150Nm of torque. By opting for the Boosterjet engine, Maruti could achieve a better fuel efficiency along with aggressive pricing.
