Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched a new Swift limited edition in the country. The new model is launched to further boost sales during 2020 festive season. Maruti Suzuki is also giving discounts, bonuses and other benefits on its vehicles. The limited edition Swift gets exterior add-ons and revised interiors along with new features.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition comes with all-black theme, which gives it a visual upgrade and sportier profile. It features a gloss black body kit, which comprises of a spoiler, body side moulding, door visor and back treatment around the grille, tail-lights and fog lamps. Inside the cabin, the limited edition Swift gets a flat bottom steering wheel along with sporty round dials. Adding to it, the hatchback also gets new seat covers. Commenting on the launch, Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales) Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “Today, we are happy to announce the launch of the bolder and sportier Swift Limited Edition to add a boost of excitement amidst such unprecedented times.”.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that is capable of producing 82bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT (automated manual transmission).
The new Limited edition is available across all variants at an additional cost of Rs 24,990. The hatchback is currently priced at Rs 5.19 lakh for the base model, which goes up to Rs 8.02 lakh for the top-spec model (ex-showroom, Delhi).
