We reported earlier that Suzuki is working on a premium hatchback, codenamed “YRA”, which is likely to go on sale in 2015-16. This premium hatchback will be positioned above the Swift hatchback and will take on the likes of Volkswagen Polo, Skoda Fabia and Honda Jazz. Interestingly, an anonymous prototype of Suzuki hatchback has been spotted during preliminary testing. This prototype could be the possible YRA premium hatchback; however, nothing has been confirmed on the same.

This five-door hatchback looks like a mini-van, just like the Honda Jazz and Nissan Note. Also visible are the alloy wheels and low ground clearance. Adding to it, the vehicle looks slightly longer than 4 metre and it is expected to be spacious and feature rich.
