Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza Production Increased To Reduce Waiting Period

Maruti Suzuki has announced that it has increased the production of its highly-popular compact SUV – Vitara Brezza – in India. This measure has been taken to cut down its waiting period and ensure faster deliveries. During April – October 2018-19, the carmaker has ramped up the Vitara Brezza’s production 10% to 94,000 units as compared to the same months last year. The Indo-Japanese carmaker has also confirmed that the top-spec Z and Z+ trims of the Maruti Vitara Brezza contribute 61% of its total sales. The AMT variants demand is as high as 49% in Mumbai and 39% in Delhi. Read – New Maruti Ertiga Mileage Figures Leaked 

Talking about the boost in Vitara Brezza’s production, Mr. R.S. Kalsi, Senior Executive Director (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki said, “The high demand for our popular models such as the Vitara Brezza is a testimony of our best in class technology, design and customer experience. With the Suzuki Motor Gujarat plant operational at its full capacity of 2.5 lakh units annually in Gujarat, we are able to increase the output. Maruti Vitara Brezza is India’s top-selling compact SUV that crossed 3 lakh sales milestone within its 28 months of its arrival in the market. The Indo-Japanese carmaker managed to sell around 95,000 units of the vehicle during April – October of 2018-19. In May 2018, the company added the AMT (Auto Gear Shift) variants to the model lineup. Reports suggest, the Vitara Brezza will receive a petrol powertrain in coming months.
