Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza And Alto Prices Increased

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has increased prices of its select models by up to Rs 10,000. The new prices come into effect from 10th January, 2019. The decision of price hike is a part of cyclical price revision that has become a norm in the industry. India’s top-selling SUV, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza gets expensive by Rs 8,900, while the Alto 800 and Alto K10 have witnessed price hike of Rs 10,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively. Now, the Vitara Brezza is available in the price range of Rs 7.67 lakh – Rs 10.42 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The entry-level variant of the Alto 800 costs Rs 2.62 lakh, and the base model of the Alto K10 comes at Rs 3.38 lakh (all, ex-showroom Delhi).

Prices of the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, however, remain unchanged. The entry-level petrol version of the MPV costs Rs 7.44 lakh, and the top-spec ZXi automatic petrol model is priced at Rs 9.95 lakh. The diesel variants, on the other hand, are available in the price range of Rs 8.84 lakh – Rs 10.90 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

As of now, the Indo-Japanese carmaker is doing final launch preparations of the new-generation Maruti Suzuki WagonR that will hit showrooms on coming 23rd. The hatchback’s new model will receive comprehensive design and feature changes along with a 1.2L petrol engine. The carline will also get CNG and LPG variants.
