Maruti Suzuki Issues Recall For 3,757 Units of Baleno

Maruti Suzuki Baleno hatchback has been recalled in India to inspect and update the Actuator Assembly ABS software. The recall exercise includes a total of 3,757 units of the vehicle manufactured between December 6, 2018, and February 4, 2019. The company has confirmed that the entire inspection and upgrdation procedure will be done at free of cost at authorized Maruti Suzuki’s service centers across the nation. Customers can themselves check whether their car is eligible for the inspection or not by submitting their car’s chassis number on Maruti Suzuki’s official website.

The Indo-Japanese carmaker recently introduced the Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift in the country. The updated version of the hatchback receives minor design changes and feature upgrades. No changes have been made its engine setup. That means, the vehicle comes with the same 82bhp, 1.2L K-Series petrol and 74bhp, 1.3L DdiS diesel engine options. Prices of the new Maruti Suzuki Baleno 2019 facelift petrol model start from Rs 5.45 lakh and go up to Rs 8.77 lakh. The diesel variants are priced from Rs 6.60 lakh to Rs 8.60 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
