Maruti Suzuki India has introduced a limited edition Celerio VXi+ in the country. It is only available with the VXi and LXi variants. It is basically an accessory package, which cost Rs. 20,000. However, the company is offering this dealer level fitment at Rs. 13,000 for a limited period.
The Accessory package includes:
Body Coloured outside rear view mirrors with turn indicators
Body colured door handles
JVC Double DIN Sterero
Hi-Tech Security System (Remote Central Locking)
Multiple Speakers
Under the bonnet, the Celerio gets the 1.0-litre petrol engine that is capable of developing a top power output of 67bhp and 90Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to front wheels of the car via a five-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
Maruti Suzuki is aiming to capitalize on the growing festive mood of Indian buyers. The company has recently launched the special editions of the Swift and Swift Dzire and WagonR, and now launched the limited edition Celerio VXi+. Maruti will also launch the Ciaz mid-sized sedan on October 5. Going by the company’s strategy, it is expected that company might also introduce more special editions in the near future.
