Maruti Suzuki’s highly popular Swift hatchback and Dzire compact sedan are ready to enter into their next generation sometime next year. Interestingly, both models will be benefited with Toyota’s Atkinson cycle strong hybrid technology and promise higher fuel efficiency than their current generation. The setup will be complied with the upcoming CAFÉ II (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) norms. Read – 2 New Maruti Suzuki SUVs Ready For Launch

The new Maruti Swift and Dzire are reported to deliver a mileage of around 35kmpl – 40kmpl. If it happens, both models will become the most fuel efficient cars in the country. The lower trims of the new Swift and Dzire will be made available with the existing 1.2L Dualjet petrol engine and CNG fuel option. The cars can be had with either a manual or an AMT gearbox.

Besides the strong hybrid tech, the new 2024 Maruti Swift and Dzire are likely to receive significant cosmetic changes and feature upgrades. The carmaker might equip them with the new SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity. The unit will also support Suzuki voice assist and OTA (over-the-air) updates. Most of features will be carried forward from the current generation including cruise control, rear view camera, power folding wing mirrors, auto climate control, keyless entry and go, leather wrapped steering and more.

In Other Fresh Updates
