Maruti Suzuki India will launch the Ciaz sedan which will replace the aging SX4 sedan in India. Unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo, the Ciaz sedan is expected to be launched by the July, 2014. A near production version of the sedan has recently been unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show as Suzuki Alivio. It has been spotted a couple of times during its test rounds on the Indian roads. Based on the Suzuki Authentics concept that debuted at the Shanghai Motor Show in April, the Ciaz sedan gets aggressive and sportier looks than the SX4. This model gets aggressive and sportier exterior as well as spacious interior. The overall dimensions of this sedan will be longer than the outgoing SX4, but the height of the sedan is reduced to offer a more wider and sporty stance.

The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz will be fitted to an advanced features including integrated music system with Bluetooth and multimedia function, automatic climate control, steering mounted audio control, cooled glove box and several others. This model also gets high end safety features including ABS (Anti-Lock Braking system) with EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution), ESP, airbags as standard for the top spec model.

This model will be offered in both petrol and diesel guise. While the gasoline model gets the 1.3-litre petrol engine; the oil burner will sport 1.3-litre Multi-Jet diesel engine.

    Pl correct erroneous entry for Kerb Weight

    It is shown thus in your specn table
    “…Kerb weight 165-170mm 165-170mm..”
    Last I checked weight is given in Kilograms….
    Pl put our more photos of this good looking car. Thanx DG Pai
