The diesel version makes use of a 1.3L DDiS motor that’s good enough for 74bhp at 4,000rpm and 190Nm of torque at 2,000rpm. Mileage figures of the hatchback stand at 21.4kmpl (petrol) – 27.39kmpl (diesel). Read – Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Cars In India
At the pricing front, the new Maruti Baleno Limited Edition will be around Rs 35,000 more expensive than the regular Baleno. The Indo-Japanese carmaker is planning to give a mid-life update to the Baleno hatchback sometime next year. The updated version of the car is reported to get Maruti Suzuki’s newly-developed 1.5L diesel engine instead of 1.3L DDiS diesel motor.
