We reported earlier that Maruti Suzuki India will launch the Alto K10 facelift with AMT option in the country in January 2015. The production of the facelifted model has already begun, and is expected to start reaching dealerships soon. Clear images of the Alto K10 AMT facelift have surfaced onto the web world. These images show that the Alto K10 facelift has received various design changes.
On design front, the Alto K10 facelift now largely resembles the Alto 800. However, the new front and rear end is clearly visible on the car. The front fascia gets new headlamps, while the tail lamps are all new.
Inside the cabin, the hatchback gets a dual tone dashboard and door trim finish. This car is also likely to get power assist for all 4-windows and beige interior scheme for select variants. Moreover, the facelift also expected to get new colour scheme.
The dashboard has new rectangular shaped central AC vents and circular AC vents for the corners with silver surrounds. Also on offer would be the new steering wheel and an all-new instrument cluster.
Under the bonnet, the vehicle would continue to feature a 1.0-litre K Series petrol engine that is capable of producing a top power output of 67bhp and 90Nm of top torque. The only mechanical change is the addition of an automated manual transmission (AMT). The Alto K10 AMT will be the cheapest automatic car in the Indian car market.
