Maruti Suzuki 800 is not just another car, it’s an emotion. Launched back in 1983, Maruti Udyog’s first car – the 800 – taught millions of Indians how to drive. After ruling Indian roads and hearts for over 3 decades, it finally bid goodbye in 2014. The rendered Maruti Suzuki 800 electric looks quite futuristic with curvaceous stance and new styling elements. Upfront, the small electric car carries inverted C-shaped headlamps connected via a thick black chrome bar featuring the signature logo in the centre.

The updated front bumper, radiator grille and slightly pronounced hood further enhance its new look. The side profile has been adored by newly-designed alloy wheels and black roof with antenna. Rajshekhar Dass has imagined the Maruti Suzuki 800 electric with a small powertrain promising a real-world range of 130km. The small electric car will be loaded with advanced features including facial recognition system and fingerprint scanner. In fact, the entry-level variants will allow using the smartphone as the car’s interface.

Interior of the Maruti Suzuki 800 electric will offer a continuously floating screen providing access to several functions such as locking the door, opening the window and changing the window tints. It will also allow operating almost all the functions offered in its cabin.
