Maruti Suzuki introduced the Ciaz mid-sized sedan in the country in October 2014. The vehicle has received an overwhelming response from car buyers, thanks to its spacious and well-equipped interiors, fuel efficiency and elegant styling. In order to further enhance its sales, the company has introduced the top-end variant- the Z+ trim. When launched, the sedan was available in four trims- V, V+, Z and Z (O) in both petrol and diesel fuel options.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz ZXi petrol variant is priced at Rs. 9.08 lakh, while the top-spec ZDi diesel variant costs Rs. 10.37 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

The new Ciaz Z+ trim replaces the Ciaz Z (O) trim and is equipped with additional features. The major addition is the new seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Named as SmartPlay, the infotainment system comprises of satellite navigation, Bluetooth, smartphone integration and voice commands. The system is also used to display for the reversing camera. It features leather wrapped steering wheel and leather seats. The flared wheel arches of the sedan have been fitted to 16-inch alloy wheels. It has all the features that are accessible in the previous top-end variant.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is powered by the same 1.4-litre petrol and 1.3-litre multi-jet diesel engines. While the petrol engine is capable of producing a top power output of 98bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 130Nm at 4,000rpm, the oil burner is good for 89bhp at 4,000rpm and a peak torque of 200Nm at 1,750rpm.
