Maruti Ciaz first print advertorial featuring Ranveer Singh out!

Maruti Suzuki India is doing final preparations for the launch of much-awaited Ciaz mid-sized sedan in the Indian market. The bookings for the sedan are likely to start in first week of September while the launch expected by 3-4 week of Sept. It is now confirmed that Ranveer Singh will be the poster boy for the upcoming Ciaz sedan. Recently, the Suzuki Ciaz and Ranveer were caught while doing TV commercial. And now, the company has released the first print ad of the Honda City competitor confirming this.

The print ad stated that “Roll Out the Red Carpet, Guys. Ciaz Coming Soon”, indicating that Maruti Suzuki will promote this saloon as executive model or chauffeur driven car. This ad also features the Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and reveals the rear fascia of the Ciaz. Unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show as concept, the Suzuki Ciaz has been spotted several times during its test rounds on Indian roads. It will replace the aging SX4 sedan, and it will be larger and spacious and more upmarket. The Maruti Ciaz  will compete against the likes of Honda City and Hyundai Verna, and will be available in both petrol and diesel fuel options.

The Suzuki Ciaz will be equipped with several advanced features including rear AC vents, automatic climate control, power adjustable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, multifunctional steering wheel, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, chrome enhancements, etc. Under the hood, the Ciaz will get the same 90PS, 1.3-litre multi-jet diesel and 95PS, 1.4-litre K Series petrol engine. Both engines will be paired to a five-speed manual gearbox while the petrol model will also get an optional AT variant.
