Maruti Alto K10 Plus Edition

Maruti Alto K10 Plus Edition is available only on the VXi variant priced at Rs 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has introduced a special edition of its best-selling Alto K10 hatchback – the Maruti Alto K10 Plus Edition. Available only on the VXi variant, this special edition is essentially a kit with 10 additional features making it more desirable than the regular Alto K10. No mechanical changes have been made to car that means it continues to come with the current 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol powertrain.

Coming to the price, the new Alto K10 Plus edition is being offered at Rs 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it Rs 23,000 (approx.) pricier than the regular VXi model that comes at Rs 3.63 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Picture Gallery – Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Cars in India

The overall design and dimensions of the Maruti Alto K10 Plus Edition are same as the standard model. Exterior updates such as chrome garnished fog lamps, body-coloured ORVMs and door handles, black moulding on the side profile, roof integrated spoiler and chrome accented wheel arches mark a difference to its portfolio.

At the heart of the Maruti Alto K10 Plus Edition is the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that also powers the standard version. This motor, with the conventional 5-speed manual gearbox, makes a top power of 67bhp at 6,000rpm and 90Nm at 3,500rpm. The hatchback is also available with a 5-speed AGS (Auto Manual Transmission) gearbox option.

On the other hand, the Alto K10 CNG delivers 58bhp at 6,000rpm and 78Nm at 3,500rpm. It gives an ARAI certified fuel economy of 32.26kmpl. Since the Alto K10 special edition shares its engine with the regular mode, it returns a claimed mileage of 24.07kmpl.
