Mahindra XUV700 Front, Side & Rear Visualized Digitally

The homegrown automaker, Mahindra will launch the much-awaited XUV700 7-seater SUV in the third quarter of 2021. The new Mahindra XUV700 has been caught testing numerous times wearing thick cloth. It will come as a replacement for the existing XUV500; however, the next-gen XUV500 will arrive as a 5-seater SUV to rival Tata Harrier and the MG Hector.

Digital artist SRK Designs has released a new rendering of the new Mahindra XUV700. The new renderings are based on the spy shots available on the internet. The SUV retains the original silhouette; however, it gets new design elements. The all-new XUV700 SUV will be based on the new global modular platform.

The front fascia of the new Mahindra XUV700 features a bolder and larger six-slat grille, new angular headlamp clusters with boomerang shaped LED DRLs. The SUV looks significantly longer than the previous model with longer wheelbase. The SUV will come equipped with new wraparound LED tail-lamps, roof-integrated spoiler with brake light, sharp fin antenna, A-pillar mounted wing mirrors with integrated blinkers, sloping roofline & multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The new Mahindra XUV700 will be the first model in its category to feature ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). It offer features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Park Assist. For safety and security, the SUV will get multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors, 360 degree camera, ESP and a tyre pressure monitor.

The new Mahindra XUV700 will come with two engine options – a 2.0L turbocharged petrol and a 2.2L turbocharged diesel. While the former is tuned to produce up to 190bhp of power and over 350Nm of torque, the diesel engine is likely to offer around 180bhp of power. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
