Mahindra XUV500, the premium SUV from the home-grown carmaker, recently completed five years in the Indian market. Commemorating the occasion, M&M has announced attractive discounts of up to Rs 66,000 on the SUV. These discounts offers come as festive benefits for buyers. The company is also offering extended warranty, road side assistance schemes, accident insurance benefits and optional accessories with the XUV500.

Launched in 2011, the Mahindra XUV500 has always been favoured for its spacious interior, comfort and off-roading capabilities. What further makes it a hot choice among buyers is its aggressive pricing. The SUV achieved 1 lakh sales mark in less than three years of its arrival in the market. Currently, the Mahindra XUV500 is available in a total of 10 variants spread across four trims – W4, W6, W8 and W10 – priced between Rs 12.41 lakh – Rs 18.53 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Power for the SUV comes from a 2.2-litre mHawk turbo diesel engine (a 1.99-litre engine in Delhi NCR) paired to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV comes with both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) systems. This oil burner churns out 140bhp and 330 Nm of torque.
