Mahindra & Mahindra has finally introduced the more powerful version of the XUV300 subcompact SUV. Called the Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport, the new model has been offered in three trims – W6, W8 and W8 (O) – with both monotone and dual-tone colour options. Here’re key details of the SUV’s new and more powerful version.

The model lineup includes three monotone variants – W6, W8 and W8 (O) – priced at Rs 10.35 lakh, Rs 11.65 lakh and Rs 12.75 lakh respectively. The W8 and W8 (O) dual-tone models cost Rs 11.80 lakh and Rs 12.90 lakh respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.

The carmaker has confirmed that the bookings and deliveries of the new XUV300 TurboSport will start from 10th October, 2022. Test drivers will also be commenced at the same day.

Major highlight of the new Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport is its 1.2L TGDi turbo petrol engine that returns a claimed power of 130bhp and 230Nm of torque. It offers 250Nm with overboost function.

One must note that the new turbo gasoline engine will be sold alongside the already existing 110bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol and 115bhp, 1.5L diesel engines.

The motor has been benefited a mild hybrid start-top system that enhances its fuel efficiency and reduces emission levels. Its mileage figure stands at 18.2kmpl.

Minor cosmetic changes have also been made to the Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport. The model features a new gloss black grille sporting red inserts, front bumper with red finish and central air intake with chrome elements. You can see Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo at the front. The wing mirrors are blacked out.

As mentioned above, the SUV’s TurboSport version comes in four new colours including dual-tone White with Black roof, Bronze with Black roof and Black with White roof.

The Mahindra XUV300 TurboSport has dual-tone Black and Beige interior instead of the regular all-black theme. The contrast silver accents on the centre console, dashboard and steering wheel add more to its sporty appearance. The SUV comes with new chrome finished pedals.

Similar to the regular top-end W8 (O) trim, the XUV300 TurboSport offers projector headlamps with LED DRLs, an electric sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheels, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, leatherette upholstery, auto headlamps, all-wheel disc brakes, 6 airbags, electronic stability program, front and rear parking sensor and hill start assist.
