Mahindra XUV300 rival Hyundai Venue dealer dispatch begins

Hyundai has started dispatching the much-awaited new Venue compact SUV to dealerships ahead of scheduled launch on May 21, 2019. The company had opened bookings for the SUV on May 2. The sub-4 meter Hyundai Venue will directly rival the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport.
The Hyundai Venue will be offered in 3 engine options – a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel. The naturally aspirated engine is capable of producing 82bhp of power and 113Nm of torque, while the turbocharged engine produces 118bhp and 172Nm of torque. The oil burner is good for 89bhp of power and 220Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual (1.2L petrol), a 6-speed manual (1.0L petrol & 1.4L diesel) and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (1.0L petrol only).
The upcoming Hyundai Venue compact SUV will be available in 4 trim levels – E, S, SX and SX (O) – and in total of 13 variants. The SUV will be offered in 10 colour options – 7 single tone and 3 dual-tone units. With the new Venue SUV, Hyundai is playing premium to create its own space in the highly competitive sub-4 meter SUV category. The Hyundai Venue also gets the advanced Blue Link connectivity solution that offers 33 connected applications out of which 10 are India specific. It gets an in-built tampered proof e-SIM, which allows user to track the car, geo fence, time fencing, vehicle remote on a smartphone, real-time traffic information and many more.
