Mahindra XUV300 Is Ready To Hit Showrooms Tomorrow
The Mahindra XUV300 will take on cars priced between Rs 8 lakh – Rs 12 lakh.
Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to introduce its new offering in the subcompact SUV space – the XUV300. The carmaker will officially announce price of the vehicle at an event in Mumbai tomorrow (i.e. 14th February, 2019). Pre-bookings for the Mahindra XUV300 were commenced in January. And interestingly, the subcompact SUV received over 4,000 bookings so far.
Prior to its price announcement, the carmaker has confirmed that the Mahindra XUV300 will be stacked up against cars priced between Rs 8 lakh – Rs 12 lakh. That means, it will take head-to-head against cars like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport.

The Mahindra XUV300 is, undoubtedly, one of the most feature loaded cars in its category. It has several segment first features to offer including dual zone automatic climate control, all disc brakes and seven airbags. It also features LED projector headlamps and 17-inch alloy wheels. Based on SsangYong Tivoli platform, the XUV300 also offers a large touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, leather seats and dual tone interior. Talking about the engine options, the Mahindra XUV300 will be made available with a 1.2L petrol and a 1.5L diesel powertrain. While the former generates a top power of 110bhp with 200Nm of torque, the latter one dishes out 115bhp with 300Nm of torque. Initially, the XUV300 compact SUV will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox and four-wheel-drive system only.
