Mahindra XUV300 Diesel-AMT Priced At Rs 11.50 Lakh
The Mahindra XUV300 AMT is available in two variants – W8 and W8 (O).
Mahindra & Mahindra has finally introduced the diesel-automatic version of the XUV300 subcompact SUV. The new AMT-equipped model has been offered in two variants – W8 and W8 (O) – priced at Rs 11.50 lakh and Rs 12.70 lakh respectively. This makes the new automatic variants around Rs 70,000 pricier than the manual diesel models that cost Rs 10.80 lakh (W8) and Rs 11.99 lakh (W8 (O)). All prices are ex-showroom.
The new Mahindra XUV300 AMT comes packed with the same 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine that’s good enough for 117bhp and 300Nm of torque. The carmaker uses a Marelli-sourced 6-speed automatic manual transmission for the subcompact SUV. It has two modes – Auto and Manual – along with a creep function. Based on the fully-loaded W8 trim, the Mahindra XUV300 AMT offers features such as infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, an engine start/stop button, dual airbags, a reverse parking camera, hill hold, auto headlamps and wipers, rear fog lamps, projector headlamps with LED DRLs and 17-inch alloy wheels. The W8 (O) additionally offers seven airbags, heated wing mirrors, leatherette upholstery, front parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitoring sytem, a sunroof and diamond cut alloys.
Recently, the carmaker revealed the rally-spec version of the Mahindra XUV300 featuring a new steering wheel, new alloys and a new paint scheme. The rally model, which was powered by the diesel motor, gets engine remapping.
