Mahindra XUV300 Official Bookings Open
The new Mahindra XUV300 will go on sale next month.
Official bookings for Mahindra & Mahindra’s new compact SUV – XUV300 – have been commenced across the nation. Interested buyers can pre-book the vehicle at any authorized Mahindra dealership or online. The new Mahindra SUV will see a release in February, 2019. Veejay Ram Nakra, Chief of Sales & Marketing, M&M Ltd. has confirmed that the Mahindra XUV300 will be positioned against the SUV priced in range of Rs 8 lakh – Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). In India, the Mahindra XUV300 will take head-to-head against the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport. It will also impact sales of the Hyundai Creta.

Built on the SsangYong Tivoli’s X100 platform, the Mahindra XUV300 is claimed to have longest wheelbase and the widest car in its league. Besides this, the SUV will also come loaded with several segment first features including dual zone climate control with rear AC vents, smart steering, all disc brakes and seven airbags. The Mahindra XUV300 will be the most powerful car its segment. While its diesel version will use the 1.5L motor, the petrol variant will get a 1.2L turbocharged unit. The former is carried over from the Mahindra Marazzo MPV. Initially, the SUV will be made available with a 6-speed manual gearbox only.
