Mahindra & Mahindra has announced that the Mahindra Treo Zor electric three wheeler has crossed the sales milestone of 1,000 units. The Treo Zor has become India’s number 1 selling electric cargo with a market share of 59% in its category.
Launched in October 2020, the Mahindra Treo Zor is claimed to offer best-in-class features. The last mile delivery Electric Vehicle is built on the tried and tested electric three-wheeler platform, Treo. The entire Treo platform is designed and developed in India and the Treo Zor is the youngest offering in the company’s electric three-wheeler portfolio.
The Mahindra Treo Zor electric powertrain offers 8kW power and 42Nm of torque It is claimed to offer highest-in-class payload of 550kgs. The vehicle gets clutch less automatic transmission with noiseless and vibration free ride. It has longest-in-industry wheelbase of 2,216mm. The electric three-wheeler offers hassle free driving with zero maintenance battery offering life of more than 1.5 lakh km & 3 years/80,000 km standard warranty with the option of extending it by additional 2 years/1 lakh km.

The Treo range of electric three-wheelers has crossed a sales milestone of 8,000 units is being sold in over 400 districts across the country. Cumulatively, the Treo range has covered a distance of over 40 million kms on Indian roads saving 2,200 metric tonnes of CO2 tailpipe emissions equivalent to planting 1 lakh trees required to absorb the same emissions.
