Mahindra Thar Adventure Inspired with Classic Jeep CJ7 Introduced
The Mahindra Thar Adventure Series is an off-road accessories version based on the Thar 2.2 CRDe 4×4 SE model
Mahindra’s popular Thar range has received a new adventure series in the South Africa. This model looks like a classic Jeep CJ7 and it features rugged equipment. The Mahindra Thar Adventure Series is available with a range of off-road accessories.
The Mahindra Thar Adventure is based on the Thar 2.2 CRDe 4×4 SE. This model comes equipped with Bundu Gear off-road bumpers, off-road alloy wheels, a steel canopy and a snorkel. The Thar Adventure’s front bumper is fitted with coloured recovery points, a top bar for added grille protection, high-lift mounting points and built-in LED lights.
The front bumper can be fitted to a front tow bar or removable winch. It can also be fitted to special Bundu Gear rock sliders. Buyers can remove the Getec steel canopy and roof section over the front seats for open-top driving. A rear canvas canopy is offered as standard. The Mahindra Thar Adventure is fitted to A-line alloy wheels with regular tyres. Buyers can also opt for optional off-road Hankook Dynapro AT tyres for off-road capabilities. The Thar Adventure Series is powered by a 2.5-litre turbodiesel engine that produces 104.5bhp of power and 247Nm of torque. It is coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox fitted to a Borg Warner 4×4 system and low-range transfer case.
