Mahindra Scorpio N Deliveries Start; Aims To Dispatch 25K Units By Nov

Mahindra Scorpio N prices were announced in June 2022. Now, the company has started deliveries of the SUV across the country. The automaker aims to deliver over 7,000 units in next 10 days and around 25,000 units by the end of November 2022. The new Scorpio N model lineup comes in five trims (Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8L) and Mahindra has already confirmed that the range-topping Z8L variant will be delivered on priority. At present, the SUV received over 1 lakh bookings and its waiting period is reported to cross 2 years (depending on the variant). The entry-level Z2 trim can be had in around 22 months, both petrol and diesel variants. The Z4, the next-to-base variant, commands a waiting period of under 2 years. The waiting period of the Scorpio N Z6 and Z8 variants stands at 2 years. The top-end Z8L variant, which is relatively high in-demand, commands a waiting period of around 20 months. Compared to the XUV700, the Mahindra Scorpio N is observing higher waiting period.

Prices of the new Scoprio N petrol manual variants start from Rs 11.99 lakh and go up to Rs 19.10 lakh. The diesel manual variants are available withing the price range of Rs 12.49 lakh – Rs 19.69 lakh. The petrol and diesel automatic models cost between Rs 15.54 lakh – Rs 20.95 lakh and Rs 15.95 lakh – Rs 23.90 lakh. There are 5 4X4 diesel variants – Z4 4X4 MT, Z8 4X4 MT, Z8 4X4 AT, Z8L 4X4 MT and Z8L 4X4 AT – priced at Rs 16.44 lakh, Rs 19.94 lakh, Rs 21.90 lakh, Rs 21.94 lakh and Rs 23.90 lakh respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.

The Mahindra Scorpio N comes with the 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel engine options. The gasoline unit makes 203bhp with 370Nm (MT)/380Nm (AT) and it can be had with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The oil burner delivers 132bhp with 300Nm and 175bhp with 370Nm (MT)/400Nm (AT). It comes with three on-road drive modes – Zip, Zap and Zoom.
