Mahindra U321 MPV Interior Revealed in New Spy Pictures

The new Mahindra MPV will be positioned against the segment leader – Toyota Innova Crysta.

Mahindra & Mahindra recently confirmed the all-new Rexton 7-seater SUV for the Indian market. Besides this, the home-grown SUV manufacturer is also working on a handful of new products and facelifts of the existing models. With an aim to tap the MPV segment, the company will also bring in the U321 (codename) as replacement to the aging Xylo. This new MPV will be positioned against the segment leader – Toyota Innova Crysta.

A camouflaged prototype of the U321 is recently caught on camera during its test rounds in high altitude areas in Leh.  The latest spy pictures reveal the signature front grille, up-swept projector headlamps, steel wheels and taillights of the MPV. This time around we also get a closer look at the interior of the U31. The production-ready version of the MPV will feature a dual-tone (Black and Beige) interior theme. Technical details of the upcoming Mahindra MPV are still under wraps. Though, it is likely to come with a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine producing 140bhp with 330Nm of torque. For Delhi NCR regions, the company might offer a 1.99-litre mHawk diesel powertrain that’s good for 140bhp and 320Nm of torque. The latest spy images confirm that the U31 MPV will come with a manual transmission.
