Mahindra Marazzo will underpin an all-new platform and has the biggest footprint of any Mahindra passenger vehicle yet.

Mahindra & Mahindra recently announced name and a few details of its upcoming Marazzo MPV. While the official launch of the vehicle has been scheduled for 3rd September, the carmaker dropped a new teaser revealing its headlamp design. The Mahindra Marazzo features a newly-designed twin chamber projector headlamp with integrated LED DRLs (daytime running lights).

The carmaker has already showcased the chrome-toothed grille, large LED taillamps and a shark-fin antenna of the MPV. Inspired by a shark fish, the Mahindra Marazzo MPV is said to look different than other Mahindra cars. The home-grown carmaker has confirmed that the Mahindra Marazzo will debut with an all-new diesel engine. Reports suggest that it could be a 1.5-litre diesel motor producing power close to 121bhp and 300Nm of torque. Transmission on offer could be a 6-speed manual unit along with an optional automatic gearbox. The latter one could be borrowed from the Mahindra XUV500. Interior of the new Mahindra Marazzo MPV has already been revealed by the carmaker. It gets light beige interior theme with dual tone (Black and Grey) dashboard panels. While the 7-seater version of the MPV has captain seat in the middle row, the 8-seater model gets a foldable bench seat with a 40:20:40 split feature. Mahindra claims that the Marazzo gets the industry-first surround cool technology with a roof-mounted air-con system.
