Mahindra Marazzo Waiting Period Goes Up To 6 Weeks

The sterling response has now led the Marazzo’s waiting period to go up to 6 weeks for select variants in cities like Coimbatore and Bangalore.

It’s just been a few weeks since the Mahindra Marazzo MPV went on sale in the Indian market. Available with 7/8-seating arrangement, the premium MPV is made available at an introductory price range of Rs 9.9 lakh – Rs 13.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India). With its shark-inspired design, several segment-first features and efficient powertrain, the Marazzo has been attracting good chunk of buyers.

The sterling response has now led the Marazzo’s waiting period to go up to 6 weeks for select variants in cities like Coimbatore and Bangalore. While the MPV commands a waiting period of 4 weeks in Delhi and Mumbai, it’s up to 3 weeks in Chandigarh. The top-spec M8 variant is said to be high-in-demand. In the first week of August 2018, the carmaker dispatched over 1,700 units of the MPV to its dealers.

For now the Marazzo MPV is available with a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 6-speed manual gearbox only. This oil burner delivers a top power of 121bhp and 300Nm of torque. The carmaker, however, has confirmed that it will introduce the petrol powertrain and an automatic (AMT) transmission on the carline by 2020. The Mahindra Marazzo features an industry-first ‘surround cool technology’. Features such as air-con vents for all three seats, an automatic climate control and leather wrapped seats further enhance its comfort quotient. The top-spec variant of the MPV gets a large 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto.
