Mahindra Marazzo Rendered As An Off-Roader

Mahindra Marazzo Expedition Rendering

The digital rendering shows what Marazzo’s off-road version might look like.

MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicles) are the latest trend among buyers and proof of it lies in the fact that nearly 70,000 people purchased new MPVs over SUVs in the last few months. Mahindra & Mahindra recently marked its entry in the premium MPV segment with the all-new Marazzo that has been doing really well for the carmaker.

Underpinning Mahindra’s all-new platform, the Marazzo has been designed and developed at the carmaker’s North American Technical Centre along with inputs from Pininfarina. While Mahindra Marazzo is a comfortable family MPV with 7/8-seats configurations, the latest digital rendering shows what its off-road version might look like. Pictures – DC Design’s Mahindra Marazzo Interior Takes Luxury To The Next Level

Called the Mahindra Marazzo Expedition, the off-roader version gets a complete makeover with lots of accessories. SRK Designs, the online social community for artists and art enthusiasts, has created a four-wheel drive (4WD) version of the MPV. Just so you know, the vehicle is made available with front-wheel-drive (FWD) system only.

With Military Green pattern shade and Brown finishing, the Mahindra Marazzo Expedition looks quite rugged. The blacked out front grille, LED DRLs (daytime running lights) and revised bumper with silver brush plate and black cladding add more to its new off-road avatar. Other design highlights include roof top tent, roof rails, additional lights, blacked out ORVMs and alloy wheels, tined window glasses and black rim with flared fenders. Read – Mahindra Marazzo Vs Toyota Innova Crysta

Currently, the Mahindra Marazzo comes with a 1.5L diesel engine that’s good for 121.3bhp and 300Nm of torque. This turbocharged motor is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The carmaker has confirmed that the MPV carline will receive petrol and AMT variants before implementation of the new BS6 emission norms (i.e. April, 2020).
