Mahindra eKUV100 Launched at Rs 8.25 lakh – India’s cheapest Electric car

The Mahindra eKUV100 is equipped with a 40kW electric motor that dishes out 53bhp of power and a peak torque of 120Nm. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a single-speed gearbox. Packed with a 15.9kWh lithium-ion battery, the new KUV100 EV is claimed to offer an electric range of 150kmph.
The electric SUV support both standard power socket charging and fast charging. With fast charger, the car’s battery can be charged up to 80% in just 55 minutes.
In terms of styling, the Mahindra eKUV100 looks similar to its petrol counterpart. It comes with subtle design changes in the form of new front fascia with no air-inlets and revised headlamps. The SUV gets redesigned tail-lamps. Interior is also similar to the eKUV100, except for the EV branding.
