The Mahindra KUV100 is now available with the Explorer accessory kit that will probably cost additional Rs 50,000 over the base price. As a reminder, the carmaker showcased an accessorized version of the compact SUV – Mahindra KUV100 Xplorer – at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016. It’s the same accessory package which is now offered alongside the regular accessories.

With features like stylish roof rails, rear spoiler, taillight protector and additional cladding, the Explorer accessory kit enhances rugged and sporty appeal of the vehicle. It also gets revised front and rear bumpers, bonnet scoops, side footsteps, front bull bar and LED brake lights. Moreover, it gets silver finish side skirts, rugged plastic wheel arches and door mouldings.

Other accessories on offer are upper and lower grille with distinct shapes, scruff plates, greenhouse area, chrome linings for lights, door handles, rain visors, front bull bars, roof carriers, rear impact beams, bug deflectors, side foot-steps, distinctive alloy wheels, sleeker spoiler, etc. For the interior, the car gets plenty of comfort and convenience features such as a heads up display, inverter power, like a rear seat screen, sun blinds, LED DRL fog lamps, rear view camera and many more.
No mechanical changes have been made to the car as it continues to feature the 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 petrol and 1.2-litre mFalcon D75 diesel engines. While the former serves a maximum power of 82bhp and 114Nm, the latter one is good enough for 77bhp and 190Nm. Both the power mills are matched to 5-speed manual gearbox.
