Mahindra Bolero Neo – Which Variant Should You Buy?

Are you looking for a 7-seater diesel car under Rs 10 lakh bracket? Well, Mahindra Bolero Neo can be a good option for you. Following is a breakdown of its entire variant lineup so that you can choose the right variant for you.

Engine Specifications

Engine1.5-litre diesel with micro-hybrid start/stop technology
No of Cylinders3
Max Power100 PS at 3750 rpm
Max Torque260 Nm at 1750-2250 rpm
Transmission5-speed manual
DrivetrainRear-Wheel-Drive (RWD) with optional mechanical locking differential
Fuel Efficiency≈ 17.3 kmpl

The Mahindra Bolero Neo is powered by the same 1.5-litre diesel engine as the Marazzo MPV, albeit in the detuned state. However, the overall output has gone up compared to its pre-facelift version (TUV300), which translates into a more relaxed and effortless drive. There is lots of torque at low revs, which helps the SUV pick up gracefully and overtaking at high speed is also not an issue with the Bolero Neo. Furthermore, its range-topping N10 (O) variant gets Multi Terrain Technology (MMT), which helps the SUV escape tricky situations.
