Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed key features of its upcoming Alturas G4 SUV that will go on sale on 24th November, 2018. The company says that the Mahindra Alturas G4 will come in two variants – 2WD AT and 4WD AT – loaded with several high-tech and safety features. The list includes 9 airbags, active roll-over protection, 3D 360 degree around view camera, 8-way powered driver seat with memory profile, ventilated seats and dual zone FATEC.
The home-grown carmaker has also confirmed that the Mahindra Alturas G4 will be retailed via an independent high-end showroom developed within the Mahindra ‘World of SUVs’. With the new showroom setup, the company aims to “provide an enhanced and immersive high-end experience for customers”. Besides this, M&M will also introduce a new premium loyalty program – Purple Club+. Under the hood, the Mahindra Alturas G4 houses a 2.2L turbocharged diesel engine paired to a 7-speed torque converter gearbox, sourced from Mercedes-Benz. This motor is capable of generating a peak power of 187bhp and 420Nm of torque. Mahindra has confirmed its new premium 7-seater SUV will be available in five different colours – Napoli Black, Lakeside Brown, Regal Blue, Dsat Silver and New Pearl White.
