Tork T6X India specs

Featuring a 6kW electric motor, the Tork T6X electric motorcycle is claimed to achieve a top-speed of 100kmph

Tork Motors, Pune-based electric motorcycle startup had unveiled the T6X performance electric motorcycle – Tork T6X in India. Now, the motorcycle has been spotted testing for the first time in India. It is expected that the company will launch the Tork T6X electric motorcycle in the country by the end of 2019. We expect the new electric bike to cost somewhere around Rs 1.3 lakh.

The spy images reveal that the T6X electric is based on the trellis frame designed in-house, which uses the battery pack. The subframe starts below the rider’s seat and the electric motor is placed right below the subframe, which results into better mass centralisation. The report further claims that the short trellis frame setup allows the tubular steel swingarm to be hinged around the electric motor, which results in a longer swingarm without compromising the low centre of gravity. Power is transferred to the rear wheel using a chain drive system.

The motorcycle is likely to feature a 6kW electric motor. It gets disc brakes on both ends with Combi-Braking System. The motorcycle is claimed to offer 27Nm of torque, while the top-speed is rated at 100kmph. Tork Motors claim that the battery can be charged up to 80% in 1 hour and offers a range of 100km.

The pictures also reveal that the motorcycle gets wide, raised handlebars and slightly rear-set footpegs. The bike gets halogen unit for headlights, while the indicators are LEDs.
