Leaked Document Confirms Revised Feature-list of Kia Seltos 2020

We informed you earlier that the popular Kia Seltos SUV will come with updated feature list. A leaked document has further confirmed that the revised Seltos variants will soon be available in our market. The Kia Seltos 2020 is expected to receive a price hike as well, but the Korean automaker is yet to make an official statement on the same.

The leaked document reveals that the Seltos HTE trims get USB charging at the front and rear along with emergency stop signal. On the other hand, the Kia Seltos HTK Plus trim now comes equipped with features like a leatherette gear knob, gloss black dashboard with a dynamic pattern, dual muffler design and remote engine start using the key FOB.

The HTX and HTX Plus trims now available with metal scuff plate with the Kia logo. Metal garnish around the AC control panel and grab handle is added on the HTX and GTX trims. The Seltos HTX trim also gets an electric sunroof and LED room lamps, which were offered in the high-end variant.

The Kia Seltos 2020 also comes equipped with new AI voice command features including – ‘Hello Kia’ wake up command, Cricket score search, India holidays information search and others. Dual-tone exterior paint scheme will also be offered on the Seltos HTX Plus and GTX Plus trims. The GTX+ also gets all-black interior colour scheme with red stitching and metal garnish on the AC controls.

In terms of mechanics, the Kia Seltos 2020 will remain the same. It will be offered with 3 engine options – a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol. While the 1.5 NA petrol engine produces 113bhp and 145Nm of torque, the oil burner is good for 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. The turbocharged petrol engine is capable of producing 138bhp and 244Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed DCT (1.4L Turbo-petrol), a 6-speed torque convertor automatic (1.5L Diesel) and a CVT automatic (1.5L Petrol).
