British marque brand Land Rover has unveiled the limited edition of the Range Rover SUV at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show. Called the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover SV Coupe, this new model has been designed and assembled by the Special Vehicle Operation (SVO) division of the company. Only 999 units of the vehicle will be sold across the globe. In the UK market, the SUV’s bespoke limited two-door edition will be launched at a starting price of £240,000 in the fourth quarter of this year.
The 2019 Land Rover Range Rover SV Coupe is claimed to the fastest-ever full-size Range Rover, offering a top speed of 165mph. Power source of the SUV is a 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 engine paired to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with rotary drive selector and paddle-shift. Permanent four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer box and Active Locking Rear Differential are assisted by Terrain Response 2. The latter one offers multiple modes – Dynamic, Comfort, Eco, Mud and Ruts, Grass Gravel Snow and Sand and Rock Crawl. The SUV can accelerate 0-60mph in just 5.0 seconds and 0-100kmph in 5.3 seconds. On the exterior, the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover SV Coupe features pixel-laser LED headlamps with laser high beam, new front bumper with silver inserts, blacked out A, B and C pillars, floating roof, 23-inch alloy wheels, frameless glass doors and revised rear bumper. Interior of the SV Coupe is more loaded and premium than the regular model.
Some of the key highlights include 12-inch digital instrument cluster, two 10-inch touchscreens, 10-inch colour HUD, 23 speaker Meridian surround sound system, a panoramic sunroof, dual tone interior with semi-aniline leather front seats with diamond quilt design. The SUV also comes with a wide range of customization options such as three wood veneer options along with a Nautic veneer, dual tone front and rear leather seats with contrast stitching, quilt pattern, door handle, headrest embroidery and tread plate engraving and badgers, four front-to-rear contrast interior themes/single tone options, etc.
