For power, the KTM Duke 790 uses a new LC8 799cc, liquid cooled, parallel twin engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. This BS4-compliant powertrain has two balancing shafts for minimal vibrations. It can deliver a peak power of 105PS (103bhp) at 9,500rpm and 86Nm of torque at 8,000rpm.
The superbike offers four riding modes – Rain, Street, Sport and Track (fully customised). The throttle input, power deliver and traction control vary with modes.
