KTM Duke 125cc: Smallest & Most Affordable KTM Launching Soon In India

KTM India is gaining huge popularity among bike enthusiasts of India, thanks for the value-for-money entry-level performance bikes. The company’s most affordable bike – Duke 200 – is priced at Rs 1.43 lakh. What’s more interesting is that the company is planning to launch its entry-level performance & most affordable motorcycle in India soon.
If latest media report is to be believed, KTM is planning to launch the 125 Duke in India in November 2018. For people not in the know, KTM is developing all the entry-level bikes including 125 Duke in India and export them to international markets. Bajaj will also launch the Pulsar 125 in India soon. The international spec KTM Duke 125 is equipped with several high-end features including dual-channel ABS; however, India-spec model is likely to get combi-brake system. It is powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 15bhp of power at 9,500rpm and 11.8Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. This entry-level motorcycle is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 80,000 – 90,000. With these high power figures, the 125 Duke will challenge the likes of Yamaha FZ and Suzuki Gixxer.
