We informed you earlier that KTM will launch the new KTM 390 Adventure motorcycle in the Indian market early next year. A new set of pictures of the Adventure motorcycle has hit the web-world, revealing design details. The spotted model was equipped with LED headlamp, indicators, mirrors and a rear number plate.
The motorcycle was fitted with wire-spoke wheels, which seems 19-inches and 17-inches in size at the front and rear respectively. On the flip side, the larger KTM Adventure’s feature a 21/18-inch wheels. The wheels are wrapped in knobby rubber that seems designed for off-road purpose.
In comparison to KTM 390 Duke, the Adventure 390 gets newly designed exhaust system. The headlamp unit looks similar to the one found one the 390 Duke, but the surrounding shroudings are different. There are panels on either side of the headlamp, which gives the bike a slimmer profile and offers wind protection. Also See – KTM 390 Scrambler Spied Testing
It also gets larger radiator shroud, while the new-fuel tank seems larger than the Duke’s. The exposed trellis subframe has been covered with some bodywork on the Adventure. The bike offers relaxed and upright riding position, thanks to taller handlebar and nicely placed footpegs. Read – 2019 KTM Duke 200 In The Works
There is a spindle offset on the front fork, which suggests that the front axle is placed slightly ahead of the fork centreline. This should help KTM to reduce trail, which is created by larger front wheel. It is expected that the KTM 390 Adventure will come with two versions – a road-oriented with alloy wheels and a more off-road focused with wire-spoke wheels. Features like mirrors and hand guards seems identical to the one found in the KTMs. Read – TVS Apache RR 310 Vs KTM RC 390
The motorcycle will get colour TFT screen, which is likely to offer all the features that are available in the KTM Dukes. The Duke gets Bluetooth connectivity. The bike will also get ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) as standard. It is expected that the production-ready KTM 390 Adventure will make its global debut at the 2018 EICMA in November.
