Kia Sonet (Venue, Vitara Brezza Rival) Might Not Launch In August

Kia Sonet Launch Date

COVID-19 crisis and the nationwide lockdown have hurt the Indian automobile industry so badly. While the car manufactures have experienced a steep sales decline, many dealers are on the edge of closure. The industry might take months to revive or get back on track. Due to ongoing pandemic, several car launches have been delayed that might also include the Kia Sonet subcompact SUV.

Previewed at the 2020 Auto Expo, the Sonet was scheduled to launch in month of August. We expect a delay of at least one to two months. Though, there is no official word on the same. The carmaker showcased the near production model of the vehicle at the biennial event. Interestingly, the Sonet will share its platform and several components with its arch rival – Hyundai Venue.
