Kia Sonet First Images Out From Auto Expo 2020
Kia Motors India is all set to unveil its all-new Sonet subcompact SUV concept at the Auto Expo 2020 today. Ahead of its official unveiling, we bring you the first pictures of the vehicle. The front end of the Kia Sonet looks quite sporty, thank s to its signature Tiger nose grille, sleek headlamps with chrome lining, fog lamps integrated on the lower portion of the bumper and slightly pronounced hood. The Kia Sonet features black cladding all around the wheel arches and side profile along with diamond cut alloy wheels and sporty roof rails. It also gets horizontally placed taillamps connected by an LED strip, rear bumper with large black inserts and matt silver bits, a roof integrated spoiler and wider rear glasshouse at the rear end.
Interior details of the Kia Sonet are yet to be revealed. Though, it’s likely to come with a free standing touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, UVO connected car technology, wireless phone charger, automatic AC unit, a multi-functional steering wheel, a digital instrument console and keyless entry with push button start. The Kia Sonet will share its engines with the Hyundai Venue. The compact SUV is likely to be offered with three powertrains – a 82PS, 1.2L petrol and a 120PS, 1.0L turbocharged petrol , and 1.5L CRDI. The new Kia compact SUV will take on the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
