At the back, the Kia Sonet features horizontally placed taillamps connected by an LED strip, a roof integrated spoiler, bumper with large black inserts and matt silver bits and wider rear glasshouse.
Most of its interior features will be carried over from the Seltos. The new Kia compact SUV will offer a free standing touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity. Similar to the Seltos, the Kia Sonet will offer UVO connected car technology. It will also be equipped with a multi-functional steering wheel, automatic AC unit, a digital instrument console, wireless phone charger, a sunroof, keyless entry with push button start and more.
As mentioned above, the Kia Sonet will borrow its powertains from the Hyundai Venue. It will come with a 1.2L petrol and a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engines pushing out power worth 82PS with 114Nm and 120PS with 172Nm respectively. The diesel version of the compact SUV is likely to get detuned version of the Seltos’ 1.5L CRDI engine.
