Kia Seltos New Teaser Reveals Front Design; Debut On 20th June
Kia claims that the Seltos will “redefine the mid-SUV car segment” with its “athletic design” and “exclusive segment first features”.
Kia Seltos compact SUV, the first product from the South Korean carmaker in India, will have its world premiere on 20th June, 2019. Ahead of its official unveiling, a new teaser reveals its front styling including chrome surrounded signature tiger nose grille and large headlamps with LED DRLs (daytime running lights).
While the official details of the Kia Seltos are yet to be revealed by the carmaker, it’s likely to come with a 1.4L turbocharged petrol, 1.4L diesel and 1.6L diesel powertrain options. The new Kia SUV is likely to feature a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an instrument cluster with a coloured TFT display. In the Indian market, the Kia Seltos will be stacked up against the Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks and Renault Duster. Prices of the SUV are likely to start from Rs lakh and go up to Rs lakh (ex-showroom). Just so you know, the Kia Seltos was first previewed as SP concept at the 2018 Auto Expo.
