Kia Seltos Launching On 22nd August, Bookings To Open In July
Prices of the Kia Seltos might start from Rs 11 lakh.
The long-wait for the Kia Seltos SUV will finally come to an end with its official price announcement on 22nd August, 2019. Pre-bookings for the vehicle will be commenced in the second week of July. Expected to be priced from 11 lakh to 16 lakh, the Kia Seltos will take on multiple models including Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Jeep Compass. The carmaker will export the SUV to some Asian markets, Middle East and Latin America.
First previewed in its concept avatar as Kia SP, the Kia Seltos will come in two trims – Standard and GT Line. From the very first day of its launch, the Seltos will be made available with two BS6-complaint powertrains including a 1.4L turbo GDI, a 1.5L diesel. While the petrol models will be offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a CVT gearbox, the diesel versions will get a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic unit. Upfront, the Kia Seltos features the brand’s signature Tiger nose grille with chrome surrounds, sporty bumper with LED DRLs, L-shaped LED headlamps, silver skid plate and a wide central airdam. Design elements such as shark-fin antenna, diamond cut alloys and silver roof rails will be reserved for the top-spec trim. Kia Seltos comes with UVO connected technology with a segment-first 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other key features include a 360 degree surround camera, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, a 7-inch colour TFT display for instrument console, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, hill assist control, electronic stability control and vehicle stability management.
